It is a specially selected blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is carefully matured in our cellars. The wine is full and fruity with a long smooth aftertaste, making it a perfect choice with red meats, pizza and pasta as well as cheeses. Calvet has, since its foundation in 1818, specialised in the varied appellations of Bordeaux. It has also selected the very best "cuvees" from other famous French wine growing areas.
