Wine of France. Costi??res de N??mes - Red French Wine "Costi??res de N??mes is the most southerly wine region in the Rh??ne valley, reputed to have been drunk by the ancient Greeks. The region itself lies within the Rh??ne delta, where two others rivers join the mighty Rh??ne on their way to the Mediterranean. This is a rich fruity wine,not a 'block buster' but simply loads of pure fruit all backed up with flavours of herbs and spices with a peppery finish. When matching with foods, just think of Mediterranean cooking, loads of olive oil, handfuls of herbs. Lovely with all roast meats and oven roasted vegetables."
