This is quality Vermouth from the last remaining, independent, family owned producer. Famous since its foundation, Dolin has a real following among, vermouth drinkers, based on two factors. The first is its use of over 20 differnt, carefully selected, plants and aromatics, combined with a maceration time of over 14 days. This produces both freshness on the nose and a depth on the palate that are not present in other vermouths.<br /> The second is its insistence on retaing the original strength. This was seleceted as the optimum alcoholic level to balance the aromatics in the infusion and they have steadfastly refused to alter it over 100 years.
