## Description

Whole White Peppercorn is essentially the seed of the plant after the fruit is removed. It is obtained by soaking the fully ripe berries in water for about six to eight days. The flesh of the fruit softens and decomposes and is further rubbed out to get the seed. The seed is then dried. White peppercorn has a higher content of piperine compound as compared to black peppercorn, so it is a bit hotter in taste. Whole White Peppercorn is used in pickling spices and marinades.
