Composition

Translating to 'Drunken heart' the founder of the brewery is said to have been given the name by a white haired old man in a dream. It gives you a lovely sense of wellbeing while getting you pleasantly drunk in the process. It does what it says on the tin then. This sake was a staple of master painter 'Yokoyama Taikan' throughout his lifetime in early 19th century Japan. It is also the most famous sake to use the type 3 yeast which produces lovely sweet rich flavours. Drink at room temperature, warm or hot.
