Buckfast Tonic Wine, known colloquially as 'Buckie' is a wine-based fortified tonic drink. It is produced in Devonshire by monks and is enjoyed by 'neds' and students in both Scotland and Ireland. It is produced using a French wine called Mistellas which provides the ideal base for the skill and expertise of the monks to produce a Tonic wine with a silky smooth, nicely rounded taste.
