Official Product from the band 'Queen'<br><br> Malbec 2013<br><br> VINEYARD LOCATION: Mendoza, Argentina<br><br> AGE OF THE VINEYARD: 15 years old on average.<br><br> GRAPES: 100% Malbec<br> YIELDING: 60 hl/ha<br> HARVEST: 11th March - 22nd March 2013<br><br> Hand harvested in small trays of 20 kg in order not to damage the grapes.<br><br> Meticulous sorting is performed by hand prior to vinification in order to select the best grapes.<br><br> Cold maceration at 8ºC during 5 days before fermentation. FERMENTATION: Fermentation at controlled temperature of 25°C, with 3 pumping over per day. TASTING NOTES: Ruby red colour with violet shiny tones. This Malbec has a lovely nose of black fruits and liquorice. It is full bodied and rich on the palate, bursting with spicy red and dark fruits. Perfect with roast lamb, grilled steak, game and vegetable risotto.
