<p>Our pine nuts have a mild piney aroma and a sweetish, rich, buttery taste. Italy is one of the foremost producers of pine kernels, followed by China; our pine kernels come from China and tend to be larger than Italian pine kernels. Pine nuts are a source of fibre, vitamins including B1 & E, minerals including copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus & zinc.</p><p>Pine kernels are often called pine nuts but they are not nuts at all, they are the seeds from the pine cone, also sometimes called pignolia and pinon nuts.
