The newly packaged Botanist Islay Dry Gin from the Bruichladdich distillery uses nine of the Classic Gin Aromatics - Orris root, Cassia bark, Coriander seed, etc - and augment these with a heady harvest of 22 wild, native island botanicals, hand-picked by their expert foraging team from the windswept hills, peat bogs and Atlantic shores of this Hebridean Island of Islay. <br> <br> The spirit is distilled in Bruichladdies unique lomond pot-still "ugly betty". Betty distills the spirit exceptionally slowly and at a remarkable low pressure. The result is an outstandingly smooth and floral gin of impeccable and quite unique provenance. Great gin!
