Lantides Estate is a family business, established in 1993 by Panos Lantides, focusing on the distinction of quality Greek wines. Panos Lantides began studying in Montpellier, France, acquired the French oenology degree and furthered his knowledge on oenology and viniculture in Bordeaux for another two years. Today the first and the second generation of Lantides winemakers are working together to bring the best new wines of an ancient world. Lantides winery is located in Nemea , one of the most famous wine zones in Greece and the biggest Protected wine zone for red varieties in Greece with more of 3000 hectares of vineyards. It was Nemea's soil and climate that compelled Panos Lantides to cultivate delicate indigenous grape varieties, such as Agiogritiko, Assyrtiko, Malagouzia and Moschofilero . They grow a mix of International grape varieties and ancient grape varieties that date back 2500 years.
