Completely pure and natural our Beef Tallow is rendered from 100% beef suet, the highest grade of fat available. The suet is sourced from small family farms practicing natural & sustainable methods of grazing that are healthier for the cattle and for the land. <br> <br> We use the highest grade of fat available because it produces the finest quality of tallow available. Tallow that has a mild flavor, a mouthwatering aroma and a fine texture that is exceptional for use in marinades, soups, stews, roasts, tossed pasta, tacos and more. It has a high smoke point of 400º (F) which makes it an excellent choice for all types of cooking including frying, sautéing, roasting, pan searing, grilling or baking. <br> <br> Beef Tallow is highly stable and so refrigeration isn't required. We do recommend keeping it refrigerated if you have the space as it keeps it fresher longer and extends the product life.
