Jansal Valley whole black cardamom, 8 ounce. Black cardamom pods have a pungent, aromatic flavor and while similar to their green counterparts, the black pods are felt to be superior for spicy dishes. The pods each contain about 20 cardamom seeds. Remove the seeds from the pods just before use. Commonly used in south Asian cuisine. Remove seeds from pods and grind prior to use.
