<p>In 1856 Francesco Cirio officially opened the first factory for Cirio in Torino, and it quickly became popular around Italy. Eleven years later in 1867, he began to export all across the world, with products that everyone enjoyed.</p> <p>In the 1920's Cirio became a recognised product all around Italy, able to offer more than vegetables, they offered pasta, meat, fish, coffee and more.</p> <p>Today, Cirio have gone back to their roots, specialising in vegetables, to bring the best possible quality they can. All of their products are naturally grown with plenty of care, they are picked when they are at their best and are safeguarded throughout the time they take to grow.</p> <p>To ensure these Chick peas are as tender and tasty as can be, Cirio pick and process them with great care before quickly steam cooking them to perfection using a completely natural method, without the addition of preservatives.</p>
