For one they are actually dried in the Mediterranean Sun, not in "ethylene gas-chambers" like other so-called sun-dried tomatoes that are artificially dried and never see the sun. Our tomatoes are naturally red from ripening, not artificially colored with Sulfur Dioxide. Next, our tomatoes are washed and then packaged using organic extra-virgin olive oil. The tomatoes can be cooked or eaten fresh out of the jar. Be sure to use the tomato-infused olive oil for a great addition to your salad dressing or marinade.
