Red Spanish Wine Garnet ruby red in colour with brick coloured rim. Aromas of ripe berries and vanilla. A rounded wine full of flavour. Campo Viejo Reserva has intense cherry, black plum, and ripe, juicy blackberries. This is balanced with the oak characters of vanillin and cloves with an elegant and lingering finish. Bodegas Campo Viejo have been part of the history of winemaking in Rioja from the outset. Its origins date back to 1959 when two small Rioja wine cellars with a long tradition, Beristain y Ortig??ela, joined forces to create Bodegas Campo Viejo. The Juan Alcorta Bodega is built on a plateau planted with vines. It has panoramic views where you can enjoy a glass of Rioja looking out over Ebro Valley and the Sierra de Cantabria mountains. Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva is made using carefully selected grapes and vinified at a controlled temperature, this wine spends 18 months in oak casks and further 18 months ageing in bottle to round it off.
