This acorn-fed iberico shoulder ham is brought to you by Cinco Jotas - 5J. A vital part of the Mediterranean diet, it is sourced from the forelimb of 100% pure iberico pigs, reared in mountain pastures, cared for and allowed to forage naturally for the acorns that make up their preferred diet and that give the meat its delicious, delicate flavour. Acorns are also rich in oleic acid, meaning the meat is richer in omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids and can even help reduce cholesterol.
