This roasted virgin hazelnut oil, made using hazelnuts from Tarragona in Catalunya, has won these major awards, which helps to prove its quality! The nuts are gently roasted and then cold-pressed using traditional methods to retain their health benefits and flavour. Hazelnut virgin oil is a well-kept secret of many top chefs. Great in salads, hazelnut oil combines very well with vinegar to produce a light but flavourful vinaigrette. With pasta, potatoes and beans, hazelnut oil serves as a wonderful substitute for butter.
