Just a stones throw from her hometown of Bilbao, in the Biscaya Hills near Guernica, in the heart of the Basque Country, renowned winemaker Ana Martin is using her local knowledge and expertise to produce this distinctive Txacoli (pronounced Chak-o-lee) late harvest wine. It is, in our opinion, one of the most unique wines you are likely to taste. Txacoli Uretzi (Uretzi means honeyed water) is a late harvest dessert wine with notes of orange peel, pear, honey and spice from oak ageing. Pairs perfectly with foie gras and blue cheese.
