This extra virgin olive oil from Alfar La maja comes in a 200ml spray bottle. The oil is pressed cold, less than 12 hours after harvesting, resulting in an oil that's low in fat but has a distinctive, lively aroma and flavor. In appearance, the oil is yellowish-green, and the scent is surprisingly lively. Many connoisseurs find the scent reminiscent of fresh green fruits, and notes of tomato, grass, artichokes, and apples jump out at the nose. Underlying them, more subtle tones hint at bananas and wild fruits. On the palate, it tastes nutty, sweet and slightly spicy, with a sweet, fluid finish. In Spanish, this product is called, "Aceite de oliva virgen extra Alfar La Maja espray."
