The Spice Lab sources only the finest quality 100% natural salt, hand-mined deep in the Himalayan Mountains from salt beds formed in the Jurassic era, more than 250,000,000 years ago. Our Himalayan salts are mined from dark pink crystals, the finest quality Himalayan Salt available. The dark crystals have the most minerals and nutrients. Our X-Fine Salt is .2-.5mm about the size of table salt, most competitors "fine" salts will not work in common salt shakers as the crystals are too large.
