This French, dried variety has a cool, sweet, licorice-like aroma, and tart, lingering slightly bitter taste. Used as a popular flavor for many European sauces. Add to cream soups, salads, omelets and gravies. Used in vinegar, tartar sauce, eggs, chicken and seafood dishes in the U.S. Enhances roast turkey or chicken, and can also be used in stuffings. Tasty in mayonnaise, melted butter sauce and French dressing.
