In 1966 when he started building his own winery he named it Bilyara, the aboriginal word for Eaglehawk, and to this day the image of the Eaglehawk is synonymous with Wolf Blass wines around the world. The Eaglehawk Chardonnay is a classic Australian example of the world's favourite white grape variety with generous fruit flavours and a soft, beautifully balanced palate.
