## Ingredients

- 16 pcs courgette flowers
- 125 g [plain flour](https://fridge.menu/en/i/flour)
- 220 ml [beer](https://fridge.menu/en/i/beer)
- 1 tbsp [olive oil](https://fridge.menu/en/i/olive-oil)
- 10 g [salt](https://fridge.menu/en/i/salt)
- [peanut oil](https://fridge.menu/en/i/peanut-oil) — to taste, for frying

## Steps

1. Remove the central pistil, stem and tip from the flowers. Rinse them thoroughly in plenty of water and dry well.
2. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the beer and whisk together until smooth.
3. Add the olive oil and salt to the batter and mix until smooth and even.
4. Heat enough peanut oil for deep-frying.
5. Dip the courgette flowers in the batter, then carefully lower them into the hot oil.
6. Fry until golden on all sides.
7. Place the cooked flowers on paper towel to drain excess oil, and serve hot.
