## Ingredients

- 700-800 g [Pears](https://fridge.menu/en/i/pear)
- 150 g [Caster sugar](https://fridge.menu/en/i/sugar)
- 125 ml [Milk](https://fridge.menu/en/i/milk) — warm
- 3 pcs [Eggs](https://fridge.menu/en/i/eggs)
- 200 g [Plain flour](https://fridge.menu/en/i/flour)
- 16 g [Baking powder](https://fridge.menu/en/i/baking-powder)
- 1 pcs [Lemon zest](https://fridge.menu/en/i/lemon-zest)
- 1 tsp [Cinnamon](https://fridge.menu/en/i/cinnamon)
- [Icing sugar](https://fridge.menu/en/i/powdered-sugar) — to taste

## Steps

1. Peel the pears, cut them in half and remove the core; dice part of them and slice the rest thinly.
2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar, by hand or with a mixer, until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the lemon zest, then the sifted flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
4. Pour in the warm milk and mix until smooth.
5. Add the diced pears, fold in gently and pour the batter into a 24 cm tin.
6. Smooth the top of the batter, arrange the thin pear slices on top in a sunburst pattern and sprinkle with sugar.
7. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C. (30 min)
8. Check with a wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, turn off the oven and leave the cake to cool.
9. Before serving, dust the cake with icing sugar to taste.
