# Sicilian Pignoccata

## Ingredients

- 3 pcs [Eggs](https://fridge.menu/en/i/eggs)
- 250 ml [Milk](https://fridge.menu/en/i/milk)
- 3 tbsp [Sugar](https://fridge.menu/en/i/sugar)
- 1 tbsp [Vegetable oil](https://fridge.menu/en/i/vegetable-oil)
- 0.5 package [Baking powder](https://fridge.menu/en/i/baking-powder) — sachet
- [Plain flour](https://fridge.menu/en/i/flour) — as needed
- [Vegetable oil](https://fridge.menu/en/i/vegetable-oil) — as needed, for frying
- [Honey](https://fridge.menu/en/i/honey) — to taste

## Steps

1. Beat the eggs with the sugar using a mixer until smooth.
2. Add the milk, baking powder and oil and mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until the batter becomes fairly thick.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan.
5. Scoop up small amounts of batter with a teaspoon and carefully lower them into the hot oil.
6. Fry the dough balls until golden.
7. Place the fried balls on paper towel to remove excess oil.
8. In a pan, melt the honey, add the fried dough balls and gently toss to coat.
9. Serve on a small plate.
