There are limited stocks available of this fantastic new vintage from Pol Roger. The wine displays a very attractive pale straw colour. One the nose there is a consistent elegance, found across the whole Pol Roger range with notes of minerals abd white flowers. The palate is intense yet there in a strong sense of delicacy and balance. A fine thread of acidity gives citrus notes with acacia honey and stone fruit. The persistence and finish is excellent and the ample levels of concentration and richness leaves this wine eager to develop over the next 3-7 years. To be paired with rich dishes such as chicken supreme with chanterelle mushrooms or sweetbreads. However this exquisite wine is perfect when savoured by itself.
