If dirty, the leather should be cleaned thoroughly using the Mild Leather Cleaner before applying Leather Protector.The Leather Protector contains anti-oxidants which prevent the leather from disintegrating and the UV filters protect the surfaces of old leathers from fading. The amount is usually sufficient to treat a complete interior or a whole set of furniture several times. The cleaner is used only in contaminated areas and care is applied to all surfaces </b> <p>Important: Do not use on open pore leathers. Test: Rub a drop of water on the surface. If the leather absorbs the water it is open pore. We have special cleaners and care products for these type of leathers. Application:Always test any products first in a hidden area for changes!Not suitable for aniline,suede/nubuck</p> <p> The COLOURLOCK MILD Leather Cleaner is provided in a foam dispenser bottle. Foams clean the leather more efficiently than liquid agents, the consumption is considerably smaller, and the leather does not become wet, which could otherwise lead to hardening after drying. Apply some foam on the Cleaning Sponge and clean the leather. Remove dirty foam with a slightly moist cloth. Use COLOURLOCK Leather Protector as soon as the leather has dried after cleaning or colour refreshment, usually on the following day. Apply with a soft cloth and let dry without polishing afterwards. One application is sufficient. Strained surfaces (heavy use or in sunlit areas) should be treated every three months.Clean before in case of soiling! These products are also suitable for Cool Leather/SRT (SunReflective Technology) Leather.</p>
