HOSPEC PH Neutral Detergent is a concentrated multi purpose detergent that can replace a range of cleaning products used within an organisation. Because of the PH Neutral qualities there are no risks of damage to stainless steel as with alcohol based products. Over a period of time, products that are not PH Neutral, will damage the surface of stainless steel work surfaces and instruments/equipment. HOSPEC PH Neutral Detergent ensures there is no tarnishing. As a detergent, it works by killing and removing the dead bacteria from the surface. When compared with disinfectants, a disinfectant will kill the bacteria or damage the bacteria, and will not kill all blood proteins relating to HepB, HepC, HIV & HSV1, allowing them to re-grow on the surface. With some disinfectants, especially those containing chlorahexidine, the proteins are actually bound tighter to the surface. The detergent removes all traces of the bacteria, ensuring there is nothing left to re-grow.
