It is also a member of the Vegetarian Society, who aide in promoting a healthy, vegetarian lifestyle. <p>Barlet Malt Extract is produced by steeping barley, allowing the naturally present enzymes to convert starches into soluble sugars. The resulting syrup is then concentrated to produce a finished extract of malted barley.</p>
