Argan oil is one of the world's most precious culinary oils and is produced using very traditional, labour intensive methods. Produced from the kernels of the argan tree which is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal purposes. This golden nutty oil is rich in Vitamin E, carotenes and unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 6 and 9). In fact argan oil contains twice the levels of Vit E than olive oil making it a powerful antioxidant. Regular dietary intake may lead to reduced levels of harmful cholesterol and is highly likely to be one factor helping the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and obesity.
