The Clootie Dumpling gets its name from the cloth or "cloot" in which the original dumpling would be steamed. Our dumplings are steamed for several hours in our traditional scotch ovens to ensure that the full flavour of the original recipe is retained. Each pudding provides approximately 4 portions. Shipping - Mainland UK All orders are sent with CityLink courier services. We instruct CityLink to leave items in a safe location if you are not available to take delivery (for example in a garage or porch). If you would prefer that we did not do this then please email us when you place the order. Please note however that CityLink charge for failed deliveries and we would have to pass any charges on. Shipping - Ireland and UK islands Items will be dispatched by Royal Mail small parcels.
