Deliciously sweet and crunchy, and very moreish. Macadamias are considered the world s finest tasting nut for their delicious flavour and crunchy texture. We import these Macadamias direct from Organic farmers in New Zealand, known for its volcanic mineral rich soils. They have been carefully selected for quality, size and great flavour. Certified Organic by Biogrow NZ and fresh for this season. Packed in 100% Compostable Packaging (See product label for details). Macadamias contain all the essential amino acids, with most present at optimum levels. They have the highest percentage (up to 88%) of monounsaturated oils (the good fats) than any other natural product, exceeding both olive and canola oil. Macadamias contain omega-3, omega-6, are rich in oleic acid and is one of the few foods that contain omega-7 palmitoleic acid which is also found in fish oils. These oils are nutritionally beneficial to hair, skin, cell, nervous system and brain health. Macadamias will compliment both sweet and savoury foods, its mellow flavour blends easily with any dish and it is delicious hot or cold, in salads, gourmet recipes, and desserts. PLEASE NOTE: Macadamias have a very hard shell! Ordinary Nut Crackers and Vices will not open these nuts. It is advised to purchase our 'Macadamia Nut Cracker' with your order. Out of the shell, Macadamias go rancid very quickly from light and heat. Buying with the shell ensures fresh, sweet and crunchy Macadamias.
