Light sesame oil is made from unroasted sesame seeds which impart a nutty flavour that is not too overpowering. Due to it being produced by the cold press method from raw sesame seeds the taste of sesame seeds really comes through. It is high in Sesamol and Sesamin which are natural antioxidants renowned for their health benefits. Its high smoke point enables its use in frying, roasting and baking, whilst its mild flavour tastes wonderful in salads and dressings.
