Ceylon Pure creamed coconut is made from fruits matured in the tree for more than 12 months. Coconut meat is then broken into pieces, dried and ground finely, giving it a rich creamy consistency, like other nut butters. This unique process for making creamed coconut, differentiates it from coconut cream or milk. There are no added chemicals, and cold pressed method of production with minimal heat, keeps the minerals, vitamins, and healthy medium chain fatty acids alive. Creamed Coconut is a perfect spread and a superior substitute for recipes which require regular coconut cream or milk, such as curries, sauces, deserts and other gourmet dishes.
