Our Imperial Yunnan Silver Needle from the April harvest is slightly fermented to provide a thick, rich tea with a fruity aroma. This top grade tea is produced from large white Pu-Erh tea trees in the Jinggu county of Yunnan Province, China. This variety of Pu-Erh tree only grows in Jinggu, and so the taste of Imperial Yunnan Silver Needle is distinctly different from teas produced from the Fujian silver needle Pu-Erh trees that are more commonly grown. It has a distinct sweetness and smooth texture that sets it apart from Fujian Pu-Erh, and a unique and complex aroma palate that cannot be mistaken for anything else!
