<p>30g of pure organic Matcha tea finely powdered, freshly harvested and sealed in foil pouch for freshness (30g makes 15 servings).</p> <br> <p><b>What do we do that's different?</b></p> <p>Our matcha powder tea is air shipped in small batches and is stored in amazons warehouse for no longer than 30 days before being sold. It's more work for us but worth it; we're obsessive about quality and we want to make sure your tea is as fresh as possible.</p> <br> <p>The Origin</p> <p>Generally the best Matcha comes from Japan - beware of Chinese variants or 'Japanese style' Matcha teas.</p> <br> <p>The Colour</p> <p>High quality Matcha is forest green in colour (deep green) and is vibrant i.e. the colour resembles springtime grass; a sign of lower quality matcha is lighter green like moss or green that has a yellow tint.</p> <br> <p>The Texture or Grind</p> <p>High quality Matcha powder will be perfectly stone ground to under 10 microns whereas a coarse gritty powder is a sign of lower quality Matcha. When drinking a truly premium Matcha tea you should not be able to detect any grit or coarseness whatsoever.</p> <br> <p>Packaging</p> <p>Matcha sold in large quantities can be a sign of lower quality; in order to ensure freshness true ceremonial Matcha is generally sold in smaller quantities and will be in foil-lined packaging.</p> <br> <p>Taste</p> <p>Lower quality Matcha will have an astringent bitter taste whereas premium Matcha will have a pleasant grassy vegetal and slightly sweet taste.</p> <br> <p>Mental Effects</p> <p>Premium Matcha should produce a prolonged mental feeling of calmness and alertness without any energy crash or the wired feeling that comes with a strong cup of coffee.</p>
