Product description: Valdo owes its success to this spumante wine which comes the grapes cultivated in the Valdobbiadene area, and is the star of the Valdo collection Production area: Valdobbiadene Altitude and exposure of the vineyards: 100 (300 ft.) to 300 metres (900 ft.) a.s.l. with a southerly exposure Soil: Limestone mixed with clay Grapes: Glera Harvest period: During the second half of September Vinification: Soft pressing and fermentation with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures Yields: 13,500 kg/ha (4.8 tons/acre) Ageing: 3 months of steel tank ageing and 2 months in the bottle Alcohol level: 11% Color: Straw yellow colour with golden hues Bouquet: Unmistakable fruity aroma with scents of wild apple, Golden apple, acacia slowers and honey Flavour: Sleek and mild taste, mildly-bodied with a slightly sweet aftertaste and extra fine persistent perlage Serving suggestions: Chill the wine gradually without causing sudden changes in temperature to enjoy the pruduct at best.
