San Giacomo has a few new vinegars of which this Beer Vinegar is one. Acetaia San Giacomo is located in an old farm near the town of Novellara in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. They have a superb reputation with their balsamic vinegars. The Beer Vinegar, Aceto di Birra is made with beer from a local artisan microbrewery and by respecting the traditional process, so no heat treatments are applied, the beer is very slowly oxidized at natural temperature, conserving and intensifying the aroma and fragrance of the beer. A real treat for the foodies, cooks and chefs of today. The result is a bright vinegar with notes of malt, yeast and hops, packed in a slim line glass bottle.
