The lush sweetness of the figs shines through in this simple preserve. A blend of organic brown Turkey figs and brown Kadota figs with a touch of sugar. Figs have a long and venerable history in California... finding their way here with the Spanish missionaries in the late 18th century. Serve with a cheese plate of goat, blue and sharp cheddar, or as a condiment with roast pork or turkey, or spread on wheat toast with cream cheese...fantastic!
