A distinctive bouquet of tropical and citrus fruit, gooseberry and passion fruit. Crisp and zesty with a refreshing finish. Nobilo is steeped in history. Nikolai and Zuva Nobilo - Croat immigrants - first planted grapes at Huapai Valley in 1943. Bringing with them a culture and heritage of family winemaking, which stretches back over 300 years. According to winemaker Darryl Woolley, Marlborough is one of the very best places in the world to make wine. This is due to the dry climate which results in the world's most expressive Sauvignons. The grapes were picked, crushed and then given 2-5 hours of skin contact to enhance the flavour. Fermentation was then carried out in stainless steel tanks to keep the pure and refreshing flavours.
