Konjac zero calorie pasta is a water-soluble dietary fiber derived from the root of the konjac plant. This pasta is referred to in Japan as shirataki noodles. There are many brands of shirataki noodles, one of which is so popular, "Miracle Noodles" that people refer to the product (shirataki pasta noodles) as miracle pasta / miracle noodles, even though the brand name may be totally different. Konjac Pasta should be rinsed thoroughly before cooking.
