- 50 g Mayonnaise
- 100 ml Crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp sweet mustard
- 20 g Gherkins very finely chopped
- 1 tbsp gherkin brine
- 1 tsp Ketchup
- 1 clove Garlic crushed
- 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste, freshly ground
Croutons
Beef and cheddar
- 2 pcs Onion finely chopped
- 400 g Beef mince
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 150 g Mature cheddar coarsely grated
- 1 tbsp Olive oil for frying
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste, freshly ground
Salad
Steps
Mix all the dressing ingredients together and season well to taste.
Rub the bread slices with garlic on both sides, spread with butter on both sides, cut into small squares and fry in a pan on both sides until crisp. Sprinkle with flaky salt and set aside on a plate.
In the pan, sauté the onion in the oil until soft.
Add the beef mince and fry, stirring actively, over high heat.
Season with smoked and sweet paprika, cumin, salt and black pepper, and adjust the seasoning to taste.
Spread the cheddar over the meat and let it melt without stirring. Turn off the heat.
Arrange the lettuce, tomatoes, gherkins, cucumber and onion on plates, top with the seasoned beef and cheddar, then the dressing and the bread croutons.
